What you have to do is to create three APN settings on your phone. Below are the APN settings. These APN settings also applies to MTN 3G & 4G sim

First APN

1. Name:                  Gamestechy 1
2. APN:                     web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
3. APN type:            Default
4. Proxy:                   Leave blank
5. Port:                      Leave blank
6. Username:            web or leave blank (your choice)
7. Password:             web or leave blank (your choice as well)
8. Leave the rest at default

Second APN

1. Name:                  Gamestechy 2
2. APN:                     web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
3. APN type:            default,supl
4. Proxy:                  10.199.212.2
5. Port:                      8080
6. Username:           web
7. Password:            web
8. Leave the rest at default.

Third APN

1. Name:                 Gamestechy 3
2. APN:                    web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
3. APN type:           default
4. Proxy:                 127.0.0.1
5. Port:                    8080
6. Username:         web
7. Password:          web
8. Leave the rest at default.

The trick here is, you have to add these three best mtn APN settings, and swap from them whenever you notice slow connection on MTN.

In my own opinion, I prefer the third APN settings with the private proxy. Trust me I recommend that fast mtn apn settings to you as well. But you know, it all depends on your area though.
